Why can’t my monitor automatically detect a source?

The input source auto detect function is only supported by specific model of monitors. Please refer to the user guide to confirm this feature. If your monitor supports this feature, it will be disabled by default. Please make sure to enable it within the OSD menu.

Why is the auto-pivot function not able to detect my monitor’s orientation?

The Auto-Pivot function uses DDC/CI to communicate with the monitor.  Please make sure not to turn off the monitor’s DDC/CI option in the OSD menu when you are using the Auto Pivot function.

For optimal performance, please make sure your monitor is fully up to date. If your VP2468 monitor’s firmware version is M001 or M002, please make sure your OSD Pivot and Auto-Pivot functions are, both, set to Auto.

Why can’t my Windows desktop rotate to match the monitor’s orientation when OSD pivot function is set to Auto?

Since OSD pivot function in the OSD menu only affects the OSD menu itself. Please also install vDisplay Manager in your operating system so that your operating system screen can automatically rotate with the monitor’s orientation.

You can set the Orientation setting to Landscape/CW90°/CCW90° or disable the “Auto Pivot” application.

Minor image retention may occur when a static image is displayed on the screen for extended periods of time.

This is a normal occurrence for In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor panels. The longer an image is left static on the screen, the more noticeable image retention will be.  In order to prevent image retention, enable the screen saver function on your monitor so that images are not static on your screen for extended periods of time.
