The Android operating system is an open-source platform that will allow you to install custom applications even when the Google Play store is not available. Follow the steps below to install the WPS Office application.
Important: By installing the WPS Office application you acknowledge the risk of installing a third-party application.
1. Download the WPS Office application from the below link:
2. Grant Permission for Unknown Sources
You will need to grant “Unknown Sources” permissions prior to installing the WPS Office application.
The Unknown Sources option will remain enabled for future instances.
a) Go to: Settings > Security
b) At Unknown sources select the toggle to enable the function.
c) A pop-up confirmation message will appear, select OK.
3. Installing the Application
a) Open the Folders application located within your app drawer.
b) Navigate to the location of the WPS Office APK file - Internal Storage or USB Drive.
c) Double-tap the APK file to launch the installation.
d) Tap Next or scroll down when the installation window appears.
e) Tap Install and press Done when the installation has completed.
