Challenges

Color Inconsistencies

When colors are not accurate and consistent, discrepancies may arise when sharing photos or letting clients preview work on set. This may cause the finished product to look different from what the client had previously previewed. These types of discrepancies come at the cost of extra time being spent to go back and re-edit work to get colors looking right.

Limited Color

Designers need access to a wide range of color, such as Adobe RGB, when preparing work for printing. Working within a limited color gamut can restrict the amount of color depth in printed work by not allowing you to leverage the deeper hues attainable by printers.

Limited Detail

When working on a design project, a bigger screen and higher resolution will always give you the advantage of seeing your work more clearly. When computer screens are too small or the resolution is too low, however, the detail you see on screen may be less defined and can result in minor errors going overlooked.

Limited Connectivity

MacBooks are a popular tool among designers and can only be connected to a monitor via USB Type-C. With all the benefits of USB Type-C, more and more products are opting for using USB Type-C exclusively and will require a monitor with USB Type-C connectivity.

How VP Can Help

Long-term Color Consistency

Co-developed with color management experts X-rite, ViewSonic VP monitors offer hardware calibration that aligns communication between the graphics card and the monitor to ensure long-term consistency and color accuracy.

Accurate Color Performance

With Delta E<2 color accuracy, ViewSonic VP monitors deliver stunningly accurate color reproduction that is nearly indistinguishable from real life color for consistently brilliant photos every time.

High Detail and Clarity

VP monitors are available in resolutions up to 4K UHD and screen sizes up to 38 inches.

Extensive Color Palette

VP Series monitors offer an extensive color palette that covers the Adobe RGB & DCI-P3 color spaces. This extra color allows you to achieve a wider range of colors than what is attainable by sRGB and take advantage of richer hues when preparing photos for printing.

Future Proof Connectivity

ViewSonic also offers VP monitors with USB Type-C connectivity and KVM switch for easy integration with USB Type-C connected devices.

Balanced Uniformity

ViewSonic’s uniformity correction balances luminance performance with calculated precision, improving delta luminance variance to less than 5% for more consistent brightness from edge to edge.

Streamlined Editing

Picture-by-picture (PBP) in combination with a dual color engine offers a more productive approach to digital design. ViewSonic’s PBP functionality allows designers to simultaneously view and edit images while using separate color settings, virtually combining the work of two monitors into one.

Ergonomic Design

Auto Pivot and an IPS panel that delivers clear images from almost any viewing angle give you more flexibility when previewing work for clients on set.

Seamless Viewing

The frameless design on VP monitors is a quality of life upgrade that gives the monitor a clean look and improves your viewing experience. Whether on its own or side-by-side in a multi-monitor setup, users will enjoy a streamlined viewing without the distraction of a bulky bezel when editing photos and extending content.

A More Comfortable Viewing Experience

TUV certified Flicker-Free and Blue Light Filtration technologies help to combat eye fatigue over extended periods of viewing. VP2771 keeps you protected from flickering and harmful blue light that is responsible for headaches and sleeping disorders for more comfortable viewing.
