London, United Kingdom (January 15, 2018) – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, will be exhibiting at this year’s BETT Show at the ExCel Centre, London (24th – 27th January).
The show marks the official UK launch of ViewSonic’s new Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) range – the IFP60 series. The new models are intelligently-designed 4K displays, engineered to be the connected hub of the modern classroom. Featuring innovative InGlass™ Technology, the displays offer a naturally smooth writing experience with no script-lag or response delays, as well as a touch whiteboard which enables free-form writing, converting to text, palm erasing, and the ability to save digitally-captured notes. The product range also features NFC capability and a biometric fingerprint reader that enables secure sign in and data transition.
Powered by a revolutionary, upgradeable Android™-based PC that creates a captivating, tablet-like experience at the front of the classroom, the IFP60 series is available in the most popular sizes up to 86 inches. Each display comes embedded with software tools such as wireless mirroring and ViewBoard Cast content sharing software, enabling teachers to plan for different types of learners and integrate web, video and photo resources into their lesson plans more easily. Content can be shared from portable devices – such as an iPad, android tablet or Chromebook – and edited remotely, enabling teachers to improve in-class collaboration and student engagement.
Tony White, AV Sales & Marketing Director at ViewSonic Europe commented: “The education market has, and will continue to be, a big focus for us as an organisation. We have already seen the positive impact our products have had on the learning experience in schools across the globe and our presence at BETT 2018 will allow us to showcase how we have taken our new range of products to the next level”
“Alongside our new IFP series, we will also be displaying our latest Large Format Displays (LFDs) – including the CDE7500 (a 75-inch, 4K display with integrated ViewBoard Cast content sharing software) – as well as our education-specific projector range, including interactive projectors for small classrooms and ultra-bright projectors for halls and theatres. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our exhibition at Stand G160!”
As part of its commitment to improving education with the power of AV technology, ViewSonic is also the recommended display solution provider of EdTech, and will be sponsoring a series of EdTech Summits throughout the year. The ViewSonic team will also be sponsoring The Academies Event 2018 and will be on hand to discuss major developments in the education sector and the greater role AV systems will play in the future.
