Input lag means the time difference between when user controls PC and sees the response on monitor. There is a trade-off to picture/video performance. If no particular demand, it is suggested to set it to off.
This setting is to provide better picture performance if user’s screen are mostly dark scenes. If no special needs(ex: playing shooting games in dark scenes), it is suggested to turn off.
ViewSonic develops several preset modes (ViewMode) such as Game/Movie, etc. These presets are specifically designed to deliver an optimized viewing experience for different screen applications. Under specific preset modes, some settings are fixed and cannot be adjusted. Please set to “Standard” mode if you want to adjust.
Please make sure the monitor’s power cable is properly seated in the port and that the monitor is powered on. By default LED indicator will light up when the monitor is powered on.
